The Secure Data Service is performed on all functioning devices that we receive at no cost. We do charge a small fee if you require a Certificate of Destruction. This consists of a confirmation email with PDF attachment showing a process overview of tasks performed on devices. This option can be selected when completing the package request. Whether you select SDS or not, all devices will have the SIM card destroyed, storage card wiped, and internal memory formatted and restored to factory settings before they are recycled or re-marketed. The fee is simply for clients who need proof for personal records or IT department logs.
